I have a middle-aged female who presented with a white burnt out patch of morphea on her Left upper back for a few months (biopsy proven). She is now developing new white patches on her left arm. She is asymptomatic and clinically has no signs of joint contractures. However, should I be concerned that this could be the beginning of linear scleroderma? What would you recommend be my next step in management of her condition? I am aware that methotrexate would be the treatment.
